As a college student with a wide variety of foods each breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I first found it difficult to eat a light lunch and found myself stuffing an uncomfortable amount of food in my mouth for both lunch and dinner. Some students fix this by eating a light salad and then returning for more food after their tummy's are somewhat filled. I, on the other hand, am not such a strong supporter for salads. I enjoy food with bold flavors, not full of leafy flavorings. So instead, I found it easier to create meals up from the ingredients provided to me.
Today for lunch I have decided to create my very own bread bowl since they offered one of my favorite soups today. Which soup? Broccoli cheddar of course.
The ingredients for today's meal are a cup or bowl of your favorite soup, and either one large bun or two small buns (whichever is available).
Once I collected all of the ingredients and returned to my table, I ripped open the buns first horizontally then vertically and then placed them next to each other within a large soup bowl. Next, I just poured the soup within the homemade soup bowl. The last step is obvious...ENJOY!
The finished product.
